TRC Talent Solutions is hiring a Buyer/Planner to join a high-performing team focused on driving efficient procurement and inventory strategies. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes ownership of supply chain operations, and ensures materials are available to meet production and business demands.
What You’ll Do

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute purchasing and planning strategies

  • Analyze demand forecasts, inventory levels, and market trends to support buying decisions

  • Manage inventory levels and replenishment processes to ensure continuity of supply

  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms with suppliers to optimize cost and quality

  • Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong vendor relationships

  • Track and report on key performance indicators related to purchasing and inventory

  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement standards

Skills Needed

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Experience with inventory management and demand planning

  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills

  • Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel

  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

What We’re Looking For

  • 1–5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain planning

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)

  • Experience working in manufacturing or distribution environments preferred

  • Understanding of inventory control, forecasting, and replenishment strategies

  • Ability to analyze data and make informed business decisions

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and within a team
