Job Summary
The Procurement Analytics and AI Enablement Analyst is responsible for transforming procurement data and initiative pipelines into dynamic, decision-ready reporting while supporting the adoption of practical AI solutions across the procurement function. This role combines hands-on dashboard development, data analysis, SharePoint site development, and AI enablement. The successful candidate will translate complex and evolving data into reliable reporting, develop tools that improve visibility and efficiency, and help procurement teams adopt AI-driven workflows and automation.
Job Responsibilities
- Design, build, and launch dynamic dashboards that provide leadership with visibility into procurement pipeline progress, initiative health, required interventions, and upcoming priorities.
- Develop daily data refresh capabilities to ensure dashboards reflect current procurement data with minimal manual intervention.
- Translate Asana data and initiative information into accurate, reliable, and actionable reporting.
- Collaborate with procurement stakeholders to gather feedback and continuously improve dashboard functionality and reporting.
- Design, build, and maintain a centralized SharePoint site serving as the primary resource for procurement content, reference materials, tools, and resources.
- Drive adoption of the SharePoint site and ensure content remains accurate and up to date.
- Develop training materials for practical AI use cases across procurement, including sourcing documentation, proposal evaluation, vendor communications, negotiation preparation, and savings analysis.
- Conduct AI training sessions and recurring office hours to increase team-wide adoption and proficiency.
- Develop a reusable library of AI prompts, templates, and workflows for common procurement activities.
- Identify opportunities to automate procurement processes within Asana, including data validation and approval workflows.
- Partner with technical resources to implement and improve procurement automation solutions.
- Communicate analytical findings, technical solutions, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Job Requirements
- 5-7+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, dashboard development, reporting automation, or a related field.
- Experience working with procurement, finance, or other business operations data.
- Proficiency with a modern business intelligence tool such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Hands-on experience working with Asana or similar project and initiative management platforms.
- Experience translating complex or inconsistent data into accurate, user-friendly reporting.
- Practical experience applying generative AI tools to real-world business workflows.
- Ability to develop and deliver training for non-technical users.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to explain technical concepts and analytical findings to executive and non-technical audiences.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Experience
- Experience building and maintaining SharePoint sites.
- Experience with procurement analytics, sourcing, supplier management, or finance processes.
- Experience implementing workflow automation within Asana or similar platforms.
- Experience developing AI-enabled tools, prompts, templates, and workflow solutions.
- Experience with data visualization, reporting automation, and dashboard governance.
