We are seeking a highly motivated, skilled, and experienced Procurement Analyst to join our dynamic team. This critical role is responsible for the full lifecycle of procurement activities, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and best value for the City.
Job Duties:
Draft, review, and issue complex solicitations, including Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
Analyze proposals and bids and conduct cost and price analyses.
Ensure procurement activities comply with federal, state, and city regulations, including NYC Procurement Policy Board (PPB) rules.
Prepare detailed reports on procurement status, metrics, and outcomes.
Serve as a primary point of contact for internal stakeholders and provide expert advice on procurement strategies and procedures.
Work closely with legal, finance, and program teams.
Guide and mentor junior procurement staff.
Demonstrate strong attention to detail, organization, problem-solving, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Strong knowledge of government procurement rules, regulations, and best practices.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Education and Experience:
Master's degree from an accredited college in Business Administration, Public Administration, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of progressively responsible experience in government procurement or a related field.
Experience in a large, complex organization is preferred.
