The Procurement Analyst supports the procurement team by reviewing purchase requirements, preparing purchase orders, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring that purchasing activities follow company policies and meet internal stakeholder needs.
• Review purchase requisitions for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with procurement policies and procedures. • Create, process, and manage Purchase Orders (POs) within the company's procurement system. • Assist in supplier negotiations to secure competitive pricing, favorable terms, and quality service. • Confirm and document supplier payment terms and ensure alignment with internal financial policies. • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including Finance, Operations, and functional teams, to clarify requirements and resolve procurement related inquiries. • Support invoice and payment resolution by addressing discrepancies, communicating with suppliers, and coordinating with Accounts Payable. • Maintain supplier records, contracts, and data to ensure accuracy and accessibility. • Conduct basic spend analysis to identify cost saving opportunities and trends. • Help monitor supplier performance and escalate issues when needed. • Support onboarding of new suppliers and ensure required documentation is completed. • Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance procurement efficiency and compliance. • Ensure all procurement activities align with company policies, ethical standards, and audit requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. • Good communication and interpersonal skills for working with suppliers and internal partners. • Basic analytical skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office including Excel or similar tools. • Interest in supply chain, purchasing, operations, or supplier management. • Preference for candidates with prior experience purchasing IT products and professional services.
