    Procurement Analyst


    Location: Falls Church, VA

    Compensation: $42.21/hour + optional benefits

    Contract: 12 months with potential for extension or direct hire

    Schedule: Hybrid – normal business hours


    Work Arrangement: Hybrid – candidates must be able to work onsite at 2941 Fairview Park Drive, Falls Church, VA a couple of times per week.

    Position Summary

    The Procurement Analyst supports the procurement team by reviewing purchasing requirements, preparing and managing purchase orders, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring procurement activities comply with company policies while meeting internal stakeholder needs.


    Key Responsibilities

    • Review purchase requisitions for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
    • Create, process, and manage purchase orders (POs) within the company’s procurement system.
    • Assist with supplier negotiations to secure competitive pricing, favorable terms, and quality service.
    • Confirm and document supplier payment terms and ensure alignment with internal financial policies.
    • Partner with internal stakeholders, including Finance, Operations, and other functional teams, to clarify purchasing requirements and resolve procurement-related inquiries.
    • Support invoice and payment resolution by addressing discrepancies, communicating with suppliers, and coordinating with Accounts Payable.
    • Maintain accurate and accessible supplier records, contracts, and procurement data.
    • Conduct basic spend analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and purchasing trends.
    • Monitor supplier performance and escalate issues as appropriate.
    • Support the onboarding of new suppliers and ensure required documentation is completed.
    • Participate in process improvement initiatives designed to improve procurement efficiency and compliance.
    • Ensure procurement activities align with company policies, ethical standards, and audit requirements.


    Required Qualifications

    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
    • Basic analytical skills.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, or similar productivity tools.
    • Interest or experience in procurement, supply chain, purchasing, operations, or supplier management.


    Preferred Qualifications

    • Previous experience purchasing IT products and/or professional services.
    • Experience with procurement platforms such as Coupa, Ivalua, or Costpoint.
