The Procurement Analyst supports the procurement team by reviewing purchase requirements, preparing purchase orders, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring that purchasing activities follow company policies and meet internal stakeholder needs. Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including Finance, Operations, and functional teams, to clarify requirements and resolve procurement related inquiries.

Job Description:

• This is a hybrid position in Falls Church VA 
• The Procurement Analyst supports the procurement team by reviewing purchase requirements, preparing purchase orders, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring that purchasing activities follow company policies and meet internal stakeholder needs.   

 
Skills Required 

• Review purchase requisitions for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
• Create, process, and manage Purchase Orders (POs) within the company’s procurement system.
• Assist in supplier negotiations to secure competitive pricing, favorable terms, and quality service.
• Confirm and document supplier payment terms and ensure alignment with internal financial policies.
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including Finance, Operations, and functional teams, to clarify requirements and resolve procurement related inquiries.
• Support invoice and payment resolution by addressing discrepancies, communicating with suppliers, and coordinating with Accounts Payable.
• Maintain supplier records, contracts, and data to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
• Conduct basic spend analysis to identify cost saving opportunities and trends.
• Help monitor supplier performance and escalate issues when needed.
• Support onboarding of new suppliers and ensure required documentation is completed.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance procurement efficiency and compliance.
• Ensure all procurement activities align with company policies, ethical standards, and audit requirements.               

                               
Experience Required    

• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills for working with suppliers and internal partners.
• Basic analytical skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office including Excel or similar tools.
• Interest in supply chain, purchasing, operations, or supplier management.
• Preference for candidates with prior experience purchasing IT products and professional services.            

 
Experience Preferred   

• Knowledge of procurement platforms such as Coupa, Ivalua, and Costpoint is a plus.        

 
Education Required       

• H.S Diploma
