Job Overview:
Do you enjoy using AI to turn ideas into working applications? Ingersoll Rand is seeking an early-career Procurement AI & Automation Analyst to join its Procurement Excellence team and build practical tools that simplify work, automate tactical processes, and improve business performance. In this early to mid-level career hands-on role, you'll help develop and support internally built, AI-enabled applications using tools such as Claude Code or OpenAI Codex, with technologies including Snowflake and GitHub. Existing solutions support cost-savings tracking and tariff exposure, with future opportunities spanning supplier scorecards, portals, workflow automation, and other Procurement and Supply Chain needs. Working across Direct and Indirect Procurement, Logistics, and other functions, this individual will identify business challenges, translate needs into solutions, and help take applications from concept to implementation. The role will also assume increasing ownership of existing tools while helping build new platforms.
This is not a machine-learning research or a traditional software-engineering role. Specific programming languages and deep Procurement expertise are not required. The strongest brings proven hands-on experience using AI-powered coding tools to build applications or workflows, strong communication and problem-solving skills, curiosity, and a desire to keep learning. If this is you, we invite you to step into a highly visible opportunity that will help shape Ingersoll Rand's growing portfolio of AI-enabled Procurement solutions while developing experience across AI, automation, business analysis, and product ownership.
