Procurement Administration Assistant (m/f/d)
temporary assignment (12 months) based in Zug, Switzerland
Key responsibilities of this position
- Provide administrative and operational support to the Procurement organization across EMEAI.
- Coordinate supplier onboarding activities, supplier master data maintenance, and contract administration processes.
- Support procurement reporting, supplier KPI tracking, compliance monitoring, and audit preparation.
- Assist with procurement transactions, pricing updates, purchase requisition and purchase order-related activities and invoice discrepancies' resolution.
- Collaborate closely with Procurement, Finance, Operations, Quality, R&D and suppliers to ensure efficient business processes.
- Support sourcing teams with market intelligence, category analysis, risk management, and supplier information management.
- Act as a key contact for procurement administration and help drive process improvements and digitalization initiatives.
- Organize procurement-related events, meetings, and stakeholder communications.
What we expect:
- Commercial apprenticeship, business administration qualification, associate degree, or comparable professional experience.
- Initial experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, finance administration, or a similar business support function is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent English and German, both written and spoken.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications; experience with SAP or procurement systems is an advantage.
- Interest in digitalization, automation, and AI-enabled productivity tools.
- Self-motivated team player with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently.
- Analytical mindset, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to confidentiality and data integrity.
