* Responsible for reading production schedules and work orders to determine processing sequences, furnace temperatures, and heat cycle requirement for units to be heat-treated and/or chemically cleaned
* Clean oxides and scales from metal parts or units using acid-based chemical and water baths
* Add specified amounts of chemicals to equipment at required times to maintain solution levels and concentrations
* Apply chemical solution to units or parts, using hand tools
Required Skills and experiences:
* Must have 1 or more years of manufacturing or industrial experience
* Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds regularly
* Must be able to work Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 3:30pm
Preferred Skills and Experience:
* Knowledge of the chemical composition, structure, and properties of substances and of the chemical processes and transformations that they undergo
* Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance
