Education and Qualifications
High school diploma required
Bachelor's degree in manufacturing or related field preferred
3-5 years in a leadership role overseeing at least 20+ employees in a manufacturing setting including performance management responsibility
Organizational and planning skills to coordinate resources and workflows under dynamic conditions
Technical knowledge relevant to the specific operational area, such as production processes, equipment, or service protocols
Compliance awareness to ensure adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards
Salary Range:
The base pay range for this position in California, $100,000 - $130,000/year. Pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
A Processing Ops Supervisor oversees daily operational activities, manages teams, ensures process compliance, and drives efficiency and quality in production or service delivery. Please note, this is a 1st shift role - Monday through Friday and occasional Saturday work.
Core Responsibilities
Responsible for supervising and coordinating the workflow within a specific operational area, such as Lube, DeOil, DryBlast, Parts Wash, Chemical, Cytal, Heat Treat plus other areas operating on weekend. Key duties include:
Hiring, training, scheduling, and supervising staff to ensure productivity and adequate staffing levels
Planning and allocating tasks and resources to meet production goals
Monitoring operational processes to ensure compliance with company policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and regulatory requirements
Ensuring products or services meet established quality standards and customer expectations, implementing corrective actions when necessary
Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), preparing reports on output, attendance, and incidents, and using data to make informed decisions
Address employee issues and take appropriate corrective action where needed
Identifying bottlenecks, operational issues, or inefficiencies and implementing solutions to improve processes and reduce waste or risk
Acting as a liaison between management and frontline staff, conducting briefings, and ensuring smooth information flow regarding priorities, safety, and operational changes
Flex employees across different areas to ensure proper HC is allocated in bottle neck areas and ensure proper level of overtime are assigned to meet department goals
Attend Gemba walks with management team to escalate concern
