EHC is seeking Phosphate Process & Finish Technicians (Full Length Division) for a Client in the Houston Area Night Shift.

Night Shift

Schedule 6:00pm-6:00am (Must be able to work 7 nights if needed)

Pay Rate $15.00

Primary Function

The Phosphate Process & Finish Technician is responsible for all product finishing requirements following the manufacturing process. This position ensures products meet quality standards and customer specifications through inspection, testing, documentation, and finishing operations.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Meet all Level I Technician requirements.
  • Document all work performed on work orders accurately and completely.
  • Participate in the training and development of Level I Technicians.
  • Perform preventive maintenance as required.
  • Operate a forklift when necessary and in accordance with safety guidelines.
  • Conduct visual inspections of threaded connections.
  • Perform phosphate titration testing and maintain daily test records.
  • Follow all applicable safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Tools, Equipment, and Machines

  • Utilize applicable inspection, measuring, and test equipment as specified in work instructions and quality procedures.

Qualifications

Education

  • High school diploma or GED preferred; trade school training is a plus.
  • Ability to read and write effectively.

Experience

  • Minimum of one (1) year of industry-related experience.

Skills and Abilities

  • Successful completion of required proficiency testing.
  • Ability to demonstrate competence and perform all essential job duties within 90 days of hire.

Training Requirements

  • Completion of safety training programs.
  • Review of required management system documentation and reading materials.
  • Quality system orientation and training.
  • Formal training on company work instructions, operating procedures, and applicable industry standards as outlined in the training matrix.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the workday.
  • Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment and operate equipment as required.
