    Description

     

    Compensation Range: $61,300 - $66,300 yearly commensurate with experience 

     

    Benefits:
    We have three comprehensive healthcare plans to choose from based on your priorities and budget. Housing Works covers most of the plan; you pay a portion, based on your salary. Staff begins accruing PTO immediately for a total of up to 30 days earned in the first year. We offer employees an educational benefit. This money is available for tuition loan reimbursement, tuition costs, and text books.

     

    Overview:

    The Processing Manager is responsible for driving financial success through training and developing warehouse Department Managers in processing and curating for Thrift Shops. This individual must work closely with Marketing, Development, and the Thrift Administration Team

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Organizes systems in the PDC regarding clothing shipments and processes. Ensures that systems and processes are followed, and goals are being met in a timely manner.
    • Set clear and ambitious direction for inventory processing, curating collections & operations with Department Managers.
    • Supervises Department Managers to ensure the highest standards of efficiency and adherence to policy
    • Create production targets for apparel, shoes, and accessories. Works closely with Department Managers to achieve said goals
    • Establish systems to ensure consistent pricing and inventory management within the warehouse
    • Work with Marketing and Thrift Administration on curation for brochure promos, Best Of, influencer and any offsite efforts such as flea markets.
    • Stays current on fashion trends and social media trends through shopping competitors, reading industry publications, and communicating with stores.

     

    Requirements:

    • Results focused and uses performance targets and goals to drive activities, must be able to think objectively and interpret meaningful themes from quantitative and qualitative data
    • Skilled at project management
    • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), interpersonal and team-oriented skills
    • Self-starting, self-motivating mindset, ability to work independently with little supervision
    • Possess excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and a keen sense of urgency
    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
    • Excellent internal and external customer service
    • Strong interest in the HW mission to end the dual crises of homelessness and HIV/AIDS
