At this time, SCI is recruiting highly qualified candidates whose background and career goals meet our needs for a Process Technician in Huntsville, AL. In this role, you will provide technical support regarding process control, equipment programming, troubleshooting, basic machine repairs, process improvements, training, and documentation to support manufacturing and R&D operations.

What You''ll Do

• Perform technical tests and experiments for process engineering within R&D.
• Perform setup, programming, troubleshooting, and basic repairs for assigned processing machinery and equipment.
• Monitor, audit, and provide technical guidance and training to line operators.
• Execute process test runs and prepare records, charts, and graphs of results for presentation to engineering to identify yield problems or evaluate new products.
• Provide technical assistance to process development and engineering personnel.
• Maintain thorough documentation and process control records.

What You''ll Bring

• Education: Associate''s Degree is required.
• Experience: 4-6 years of related electronics manufacturing experience.
• Proficiency in programming, operating, troubleshooting, and repairing processing equipment utilized in assigned manufacturing lines.
• Self-motivated mindset with a strong willingness to take ownership of assigned processes and pursue continuous education on equipment and process developments.

How to Stand Out

• Demonstrated expertise in automated surface mount technology (SMT) or specialized electronics packaging/assembly machinery.
• Proven track record in data collection and yield analysis to directly support root-cause troubleshooting and R&D process development.
