Position Summary

We are looking for a Process Technician to support the operation and maintenance of automated blow molding equipment in a plastic manufacturing facility. This position is responsible for monitoring production, troubleshooting equipment, making machine adjustments, performing quality checks, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor automated blow molding equipment.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting and make necessary machine adjustments and repairs.
  • Monitor equipment settings and make adjustments to maintain proper production.
  • Complete preventative maintenance tasks as required.
  • Follow product specifications, material requirements, and customer requests.
  • Perform quality control inspections to ensure products meet required specifications.
  • Inspect bottles and products for defects, dimensions, and quality standards.
  • Properly tag and identify units and gaylords coming off the production line.
  • Record downtime and scrap information in SAP.
  • Follow all safety, housekeeping, ISO, and GMP procedures.
  • Report food safety concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Attend required training sessions and team meetings.
  • Work closely with team members to meet production and quality goals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Associates Degree or higher preferred.
  • Previous manufacturing, mechanical, or technical experience is a plus.
  • Strong mechanical and technical skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and learn new equipment and processes.
  • Self-motivated and dependable.
  • Team-oriented with strong communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities.
  • Good time management and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to continuously learn through training and hands-on experience.
