Position Summary
We are looking for a Process Technician to support the operation and maintenance of automated blow molding equipment in a plastic manufacturing facility. This position is responsible for monitoring production, troubleshooting equipment, making machine adjustments, performing quality checks, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor automated blow molding equipment.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and make necessary machine adjustments and repairs.
- Monitor equipment settings and make adjustments to maintain proper production.
- Complete preventative maintenance tasks as required.
- Follow product specifications, material requirements, and customer requests.
- Perform quality control inspections to ensure products meet required specifications.
- Inspect bottles and products for defects, dimensions, and quality standards.
- Properly tag and identify units and gaylords coming off the production line.
- Record downtime and scrap information in SAP.
- Follow all safety, housekeeping, ISO, and GMP procedures.
- Report food safety concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Attend required training sessions and team meetings.
- Work closely with team members to meet production and quality goals.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Associates Degree or higher preferred.
- Previous manufacturing, mechanical, or technical experience is a plus.
- Strong mechanical and technical skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot and learn new equipment and processes.
- Self-motivated and dependable.
- Team-oriented with strong communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities.
- Good time management and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to continuously learn through training and hands-on experience.
