Mantel’s Biomedical Solutions division is a dedicated line within Mantel Technologies that delivers trauma care solutions to defense and commercial markets. Our biomedical solutions are devices and therapies, produced in a regulated manufacturing environment, to answer critical trauma care needs for human and veterinary markets including blood products, shelf stable therapies and the devices that collect, process and store biologics. Mantel’s Biomedical Solutions operates predominantly out of the company’s Fort Collins office, where it performs R&D, product development and manufacturing.
Position Overview
Mantel seeks a Process Technician to support our biomedical product development and manufacturing activities in Fort Collins. The Process Technician performs activities required for the production of products at the Mantel Production facility. This position is responsible for the day to day processing activities of product manipulation, equipment utilization and care, and the quality program documentation related to the products. This position will comply with all quality and safety procedures in compliance with all applicable regulations, policies, and procedures.
Location: Fort Collins, CO — Fully Onsite
Compensation: $46,000-$54,000 DOE
Responsibilities:
Adhere to all applicable regulations, policies, and procedures.
Perform tasks as required per SOPs.
Clearly and accurately document process data in process records, logs, and other associated documentation.
Perform daily facility and equipment checks, calibrations, maintenance as required.
Operate equipment in accordance with training, procedures, and validation protocols.
Assist with product development and improvement activities.
Recognize, communicate, and troubleshoot issues related to production activities.
Complete and maintain training requirements, and assist with training of new employees.
Maintain operational readiness, and audit readiness at all times.
Perform inventory control activities as required.
Provide subject matter expert input to audits, and project personnel.
Fulfill any other task as assigned.
What we’re looking for:
College level algebra, chemistry and biology or equivalent scientific experience preferred.
Moderate to advanced computer skills.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
1-2 years of experience in similar role
