Process Technician, Components

We are seeking a skilled Process Technician to join our team at Tesla. The ideal candidate will have expertise in electrical systems, programming, and hydraulic systems, with a focus on maintaining and optimizing advanced manufacturing equipment. This role involves hands-on troubleshooting and continuous improvement of equipment and processes to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

• Provide daily coverage of production line processes for smooth operations, responding promptly to out-of-control processes to minimize costs and maximize productivity
• Analyze data to identify trends and implement countermeasures to enhance process Cpk and product yield
• Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to diagnose and resolve equipment issues and implement upgrades
• Utilize programming skills to update and modify control systems for enhanced functionality
• Support engineering and manufacturing by improving and drafting manufacturing instructions, technical documents, and drawings.
• Conduct routine inspections and audits as per established protocols
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and practices
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
• Proficiency in data collection, visualization, and data analysis
• Experience with programming and control systems used in manufacturing
• Knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance practices
• Familiarity with industrial automation and control software
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
• Experience in a manufacturing environment with high-volume production lines
