Job Summary (Process Technician Production Floor, Second Shift):
- Develops, optimizes, and troubleshoots injection molding processes using various resins.
- Trains mold setter/processors and general service staff on processing techniques and equipment operation.
- Reviews and recommends improvements to streamline processing, including resin selection and mold changeover.
- Monitors and optimizes cycle times, scrap rates, and production counts for each press.
- Conducts new mold qualifications and pilot runs to establish optimal processes.
- Collaborates with process engineers, tooling/production specialists, and managers to meet processing requirements.
- Identifies and communicates tooling-related issues during process start-ups or adjustments.
- Reviews and oversees work performed by mold setter/processors; provides guidance for efficiency.
- Maintains and updates departmental records; ensures accurate and timely completion of paperwork.
- Acts as shift foreman in the supervisor's absence, providing leadership and supervision as needed.
- Organizes and catalogs processing information and technical data.
- Serves as the technical lead for identifying replacement gas-assist components.
- Performs additional duties as delegated by management.
- Ensures all processes and outputs meet quality standards and regulatory requirements, striving for zero defects.
- Regularly makes independent decisions and demonstrates strong leadership skills.
- Routinely lifts 25 lbs or more and performs physically demanding tasks throughout the shift.
- Utilizes a variety of hand and power tools required for job functions.
- Adheres to strict attendance policies; must be available for second shift and flexible to work overtime or other shifts as needed.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or higher.
- Minimum 5 years advanced injection molding and processing experience.
- Comprehensive knowledge of mold set-ups, injection molding machine controls, and engineering resins.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to maintain quality, safety, and efficiency standards.
