Process Tech II (1st Shift)

What You Will Achieve 

You will contribute directly to the processing, formulation, and production of biological drug substances by ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient execution of manufacturing operations. You will support production schedules, uphold product quality, and collaborate with cross‑functional partners to drive continuous improvement and reliable supply to patients. 

In this role, you will: 

• Perform biological manufacturing unit operations using a variety of equipment, including tanks, pumps, centrifuges, filters, scales, and freeze dryers.  

• Prepare, operate, monitor, and troubleshoot equipment and processes in accordance with SOPs, cGMPs, OSHA, and safety standards.  

• Execute material handling activities, including charging, packaging, washing, sanitizing, and cleaning of equipment and facilities.  

• Monitor process parameters, complete batch documentation, and review batch end reports for quality or equipment concerns.  

• Utilize computerized systems, including PLC and SCADA, to support manufacturing operations and documentation.  

• Perform in‑process quality inspections and support investigations, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.  

• Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and other partners to troubleshoot equipment issues and support TPM activities.  

• Complete all required training on time and demonstrate ownership of product quality, safety, and production outcomes.  

• Work independently or as part of a team, demonstrating a growth mindset, accountability, and flexibility to meet business needs. 

Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements) 

• High School Diploma or GED with 2+ years of experience. 

• Self‑motivated problem solver able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.  

• Ability to communicate effectively across departments and follow written and verbal instructions.  

• Competence in troubleshooting and performing quality checks. 

• Demonstrated ability to follow established procedures and guidelines. 

• Analytical, detail-oriented problem solver with strong organizational skills. 

Bonus Points If You Have (Preferred Requirements) 

• Previous experience in cGMPs (current Good Manufacturing Practices) environment.  

• Relevant pharmaceutical experience.  

• Proficiency in using manufacturing software and tools. 

• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment. 

• Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to mentor team members. 

• Familiarity and basic understanding of common AI tools and a curiosity for learning how they can be used to enhance productivity. 

Work Environment & Operational Conditions 

• Work is performed on‑site in a regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.  

• Positions are staffed across multiple shifts; weekend, holiday, and overtime work may be  based on operational needs.  

• Ability to lift and lower up to 55 pounds and work at heights above 6 feet.  

• Requires standing, walking, reaching, stooping, crawling, and wearing required PPE, including hard hats, harnesses, and face shields.  

Non-Standard Requirements 

• Work is conducted in controlled cleanroom environments (Grade C/D) with appropriate gowning requirements.
