We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Plating Technician to join a manufacturing team. This role is responsible for operating plating equipment, monitoring chemical processes, performing quality checks, and maintaining accurate production records. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and has strong attention to detail.
Pay: $19-$26 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-2:30 PM
Location: Wilton, NH
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor plating processes according to established procedures
- Test and analyze chemical solutions, including concentration and pH levels
- Monitor production parameters such as temperature, timing, and current settings
- Make chemical adjustments as needed to maintain process requirements
- Prepare parts and fixtures for plating operations
- Perform inspections and quality checks throughout the production process
- Maintain accurate production and process records
- Support waste treatment operations and environmental compliance procedures
- Assist with solution changes, equipment cleaning, and general maintenance tasks
- Perform rework or stripping of parts when required
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow all safety, quality, and environmental guidelines
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
- Basic math skills and ability to follow written procedures
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision
