    Process Piping Superintendent – Advanced Facilities

    Location: Albany, NY
    Project Duration: 2–3 Months
    Schedule: Onsite | Approximately 50 Hours per Week
    Local Candidates Preferred | Travelers Considered


    Position Overview

    We are seeking an experienced Process Piping Superintendent to support an advanced facilities construction project in Albany, NY. The ideal candidate will have direct field leadership experience overseeing process piping construction within semiconductor, pharmaceutical, biotech, life sciences, or similar high-tech facilities.


    This is a hands-on field leadership position requiring a Superintendent who can effectively coordinate piping construction activities, communicate across project teams and trades, identify and resolve field issues, and drive project tasks through completion in a fast-paced construction environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide onsite supervision and coordination of process piping construction activities.
    • Manage day-to-day field execution to maintain project schedule, quality, and safety requirements.
    • Coordinate piping contractors, subcontractors, field personnel, and other construction disciplines.
    • Review construction drawings, specifications, P&IDs, and project documentation to support field execution.
    • Monitor installation progress and proactively identify potential schedule or construction issues.
    • Coordinate piping activities with mechanical, electrical, equipment, structural, and other project teams.
    • Lead field coordination and communicate priorities, constraints, and project requirements to contractors and project stakeholders.
    • Ensure work is completed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, quality requirements, and project standards.
    • Support inspections, QA/QC activities, testing, commissioning, punch-list completion, and turnover as required.
    • Identify field conflicts and work with engineering, construction management, and contractors to drive timely resolution.
    • Maintain strong communication with project leadership regarding schedule, progress, manpower, materials, and field constraints.
    • Promote a strong safety culture and ensure field activities comply with site safety requirements.


    Required Qualifications

    • Process Piping Superintendent experience within semiconductor or life sciences facilities.
    • Strong construction field leadership and subcontractor coordination experience.
    • Experience working within advanced manufacturing, cleanroom, high-tech, pharmaceutical, biotech, or semiconductor construction environments.
    • Ability to read and interpret piping drawings, construction documents, specifications, and P&IDs.
    • Strong understanding of process piping installation and field construction practices.
    • Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple contractors, trades, and project stakeholders.
    • Effective and impactful communication skills.
    • Strong ability to drive project tasks to completion within demanding schedules.
    • Ability to work onsite approximately 50 hours per week.
    • Albany-area candidates strongly preferred; qualified travelers will also be considered.


    Project Details

    This is a 2–3 month onsite assignment in Albany, NY supporting an advanced facilities project. Local candidates are preferred; travelers may qualify for approximately $4,000/month in per diem.
