Job Description

Nesco Resource is currently seeking dependable and hardworking Process Operators for a spice and seasoning manufacturing facility in Elyria, Ohio.

This position involves operating production equipment, mixing and blending ingredients, monitoring manufacturing processes, and ensuring products meet quality and safety standards. Ideal candidates will have previous manufacturing, machine operation, or food production experience.

Job Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production machinery used in the mixing, blending, and processing of spices and seasonings.

• Measure, weigh, and prepare ingredients according to production specifications.

• Load raw materials into production equipment.

• Monitor production processes to ensure product quality and consistency.

• Perform basic machine adjustments and troubleshoot minor equipment issues.

• Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met.

• Follow food safety, sanitation, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

• Maintain accurate production records and documentation.

• Clean and sanitize equipment and work areas.

• Assist with packaging, labeling, and material handling as needed.

• Follow all company safety procedures and production guidelines.

Job Requirements

• Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.

• Ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.

• Comfortable working around spices, seasonings, and strong food-related odors.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions.

• Basic math skills for weighing and measuring ingredients.

• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
