Hunton Group is seeking to hire a Process Mechanical Engineer for our Hunton Trane division. The Process Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for supporting the design, development, and execution of mechanical and process systems for commercial and industrial projects. This role will work closely with sales, project management, controls, field operations, and customers to develop efficient, reliable, and innovative system solutions that meet operational and project requirements.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of mechanical and process systems, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Design and support mechanical and process systems for commercial and industrial applications.
- Develop engineering calculations, equipment selections, process flow diagrams (PFDs), piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), and system layouts.
- Support chilled water, hydronic, HVAC, industrial process, and energy-related system designs.
- Coordinate with internal engineering teams, project managers, contractors, and customers throughout the project lifecycle.
- Review project specifications, drawings, and customer requirements to ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards.
- Assist with equipment sizing, piping design, and system optimization.
- Provide technical support during project execution, installation, commissioning, and startup activities.
- Participate in project meetings, design reviews, and coordination efforts.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and process system issues and recommend effective solutions.
- Maintain accurate engineering documentation and project records.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and engineering best practices.
