Process Inspector

Position Summary
The Process Inspector performs in-process inspections and completes inspection sheets to ensure parts are manufactured according to customer specifications.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Inspect parts throughout production using handheld measuring equipment, including calipers and micrometers.

• Complete in-process inspection sheets and accurately document all inspections and completed tasks.

• Review documentation to verify previous operations have been signed off and confirm part counts before beginning any manufacturing operation.

• Follow established procedures to maintain product identification, traceability, and documentation.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma required.

Physical Demands and Work Environment
This position requires standing, walking, or sitting, sometimes for extended periods; handling objects; reaching; balancing; stooping, kneeling, or crouching; and talking or listening. Employees may occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds and must seek assistance for heavier items.
