Manufacturing Engineer
Join a growing manufacturing team where you'll lead continuous improvement initiatives that drive safety, quality, efficiency, and cost savings. This hands-on role partners closely with production and maintenance to optimize manufacturing processes, implement new equipment, and improve overall plant performance.
Responsibilities
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance safety, quality, productivity, and cost
Lead manufacturing projects, equipment evaluations, and process development
Troubleshoot production issues and support daily manufacturing operations
Conduct capability and time studies to improve efficiency
Develop work instructions, tooling, jigs, and fixtures
Drive continuous improvement through Lean initiatives, Kaizen events, and cost reduction projects
Coordinate projects and collaborate with cross-functional team
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or Chemical Engineering (or equivalent experience)
2-4 years of engineering experience in a metal manufacturing or finishing environment preferred
Experience with Lean Manufacturing, process mapping, FMEA, root cause analysis, and capability studies
Strong project management, communication, and problem-solving skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office; Creo and AutoCAD experience is a plus
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
