    Process Engineer – Water Treatment & R&D
    Location: Midland/West Texas
    Salary: $110,000–$130,000 + 10% Bonus

    An innovative industrial water organization is seeking a Process Engineer to support process optimization, engineering and R&D initiatives involving advanced water-treatment operations.

    Responsibilities

    •  Lead process optimization initiatives 
    •  Analyze plant and laboratory operating data 
    •  Develop process models, mass balances and performance calculations 
    •  Identify opportunities to increase efficiency and reduce operating costs 
    •  Evaluate water-treatment and emerging technologies 
    •  Support engineering/design for R&D initiatives 
    •  Coordinate pilot programs, field trials and proof-of-concept testing 
    •  Develop technical evaluations and business cases 
    Qualifications

    •  Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Process, Environmental, Mechanical Engineering or related discipline 
    •  5+ years of relevant industrial process-engineering experience 
    •  Experience in water treatment, chemical processing, desalination, refrigeration or similar industrial environments 
    •  Strong chemistry/thermodynamics, analytical and troubleshooting skills 
    •  Ability to work in plant and field environments 
    Travel: This is a hands-on position requiring regular travel to a West Texas operating facility, generally 3–4 days per week. Company transportation, fuel and lodging support are available.

    Flexible work from home options available.

    Compensation: $110,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
