About the role
The Process Engineer is responsible for knowledge of Semiconductor process and product interactions with efficient and reliable operation of Semiconductor epitaxial reactors (MOCVD, MBE), ensuring high product quality, production yield, and equipment uptime. This role mainly supports both Production activities, including process development, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.
Process Engineer:
This role is aimed at those with good working knowledge and experience in Process Engineering and a solid understanding of the manufacturing process.
Aimed at those that can apply working knowledge in Process Engineering and other areas of the organisation.
Responsible for continuing to focus on expanding knowledge of Semiconductor process and product interactions.
- This role will mainly focus on the epitaxy process, although support in sustaining or operating the reactor may be required at times.
- This role requires data analysis, recipe development, equipment qualification, and cross-functional collaboration to meet technical and customer requirements.
- This role is aimed at those with a moderate level of knowledge and experience of the organization, processes and customers and is expected to work with guidance from senior level roles.
- Must have an intermediate level of analytics, scientific method, and operational process of epitaxial material.
- Must be able to resolve complex problems and troubleshooting efforts.
- Must be able to use working knowledge to recommend solutions and best practice with a key focus on continuous improvement.
- Must be able to work independently, with little supervision.
- Works autonomously within established procedures and practices.
- Must be able work to clearly defined methods and tasks, working to structured work assignments to complete tasks safely and with quality in mind.
- Works with the ability to modify their approach to certain tasks within the scope of certified areas.
- Provides solutions to gaps in the process documentation and assists in updating associated work instructions.
- Can assist and mentor lower-level roles as required.
- Supports the company initiatives, policies, and values.
- This is a M-F role.
About you u
Experience Requirements for the Process Engineer - P2:
- Advanced experience in Process Engineering or equivalent manufacturing field.
- 7+ Years experience in Process Engineering or equivalent combination of education, experience and/or knowledge is desirable.
- Reactor (MOCVD, MBE) process knowledge.
- Must have experience with SPC and recipe editing.
- Experience with reactor maintenance is a plus.
Qualification Requirements for the Process Engineer - P2:
- Level 4-5 Qualification or 2-Year/Associate's technical degree in Engineering or equivalent, physics, materials science, or related technical field. Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Specialised technical qualifications relevant to the role.
