Process Engineer
Our advanced manufacturing client in the Southern Vermont area is seeking to hire a Process Engineer for a direct hire opportunity. Your qualifications for the Process Engineer position are:
- Bachelor's degree in a science-related field such as Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or similar
- 5+ years of process engineering experience within a manufacturing environment
- Proven success leading process improvements and increasing production efficiency
- Strong background in data analysis, root cause investigation, and experimental design
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Statistical Process Control (SPC)
- Excellent project management, communication, and collaboration skills
- Experience with diamond turning or semiconductor wafer singulation is a strong plus!

For the Process Engineer, your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Lead manufacturing process improvement projects focused on quality, yield, and efficiency
- Develop and optimize glass machining processes including blocking, coring, milling, dicing, chamfering, and pick-and-place
- Analyze production issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions
- Design and execute experiments to improve product performance and process reliability
- Manage engineering projects, including timelines, resources, and project priorities
- Develop and maintain process documentation, operating procedures, and training materials
- Train and mentor team members on best practices and process standards
- Partner with engineering and manufacturing teams to support continuous improvement and new product initiatives
- Evaluate process changes and conduct risk assessments to ensure successful implementation
