Preferred Qualifications


  • Experience in pneumatic components, fluid power systems, industrial automation, valves, cylinders, or related products.
  • Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma certification.
  • Experience with automated testing equipment and manufacturing process controls.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • 7+ years of manufacturing engineering experience supporting precision mechanical component manufacturing and assembly operations.
  • Hands-on experience improving CNC machining, assembly, and testing processes within a production environment.
  • Proven track record reducing scrap, downtime, and cycle times through process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Experience leading NCR investigations, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and quality improvement projects within ISO-regulated manufacturing environments.
  • Strong background supporting New Product Introduction (NPI), process validation, fixture design, and manufacturing process development.
  • Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally across engineering, quality, and operations teams.

Responsibilities



  • Analyze and improve CNC machining, assembly, and testing processes to reduce scrap, downtime, and cycle times.
  • Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions related to non-conforming products, customer returns, and manufacturing defects.
  • Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities, including process development, validation, documentation, and production readiness.
  • Design and implement fixtures, tooling, and process improvements to enhance manufacturing efficiency and product quality.
  • Develop and maintain manufacturing work instructions, process documentation, and training materials.
  • Partner with Production, Quality, Engineering, and Operations teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Utilize Lean Manufacturing methodologies to improve throughput, reduce waste, and optimize production flow.
  • Monitor key manufacturing metrics and identify opportunities for process optimization.
  • Support ISO-compliant quality systems and ensure manufacturing processes meet established standards and requirements.
