The Process Engineer is responsible for developing and optimizing manufacturing processes to meet quality, efficiency, and cost goals in a food production facility.
- Evaluate, improve, and maintain manufacturing systems, equipment, and procedures for safety and productivity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to scale pilot processes to full production, manage recipes in SAP/WinCC, and support equipment selection.
- Enhance process capability and capacity while ensuring quality standards; lead projects to improve efficiency and product quality.
- Conduct ingredient testing, analyze data, troubleshoot system issues, and support validation and commissioning of equipment.
- Require a BS in Food or Chemical Engineering with 1-7 years of food manufacturing experience.
Skills include strong communication, problem-solving, organizational abilities, knowledge of GMP/HACCP, PLC programming, data systems, and flexibility in a dynamic environment.
