Our client, a leading organization in the chemical processing industry, is seeking a Process Engineer to join their team. As a Process Engineer, you will be part of the Process Engineering department supporting operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, proactive problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Process Engineer

Location: Pasadena, Texas (Remote work options available)

 

What's the Job?

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive Process Engineering strategy aligned with the company's long-term goals.
  • Support integrity management of critical equipment, including periodic reviews and maintenance planning.
  • Assist in the development of a five-year capital plan and long-term process improvement strategies.
  • Write and implement Management of Change (MOC) procedures, including capital projects and process safety reviews.
  • Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to troubleshoot operational issues and optimize processes for efficiency and safety.

What's Needed?

  • Degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience in process development, optimization, and safety management within a chemical or industrial environment.
  • Strong understanding of process safety, equipment integrity, and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills to liaise effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to analyze process data, identify trends, and implement improvements.
