Process EngineerOxford, ALOur client, a well-established manufacturer in eastern Alabama, is looking to add a Process Engineer to its engineering team. This position offers an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys solving manufacturing problems, improving production processes, and seeing their ideas implemented on the plant floor.
Rather than being limited to one area of the business, you'll be involved in a variety of engineering initiatives ranging from troubleshooting production issues and supporting capital projects to designing machine components and identifying opportunities to improve safety, quality, and productivity.

Responsibilities- Support manufacturing operations by identifying and resolving process-related issues
- Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives that improve safety, quality, efficiency, and throughput
- Partner with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to troubleshoot equipment and manufacturing challenges
- Support capital equipment projects, facility improvements, and equipment upgrades
- Design or modify machine components, tooling, and manufacturing fixtures as needed
- Analyze manufacturing processes and recommend improvements to increase performance and reliability
- Develop and maintain engineering drawings and supporting documentation
- Work closely with operators and production leadership to identify opportunities for process improvements
- Participate in new equipment installations, startup activities, and process validation
What They're Looking For- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering
- Approximately 3-7 years of manufacturing engineering or process engineering experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on problem-solving ability
- Experience supporting manufacturing operations in an industrial environment
- Ability to work effectively with production, maintenance, and cross-functional teams
Experience with any of the following would be beneficial:
- Continuous Improvement initiatives
- Capital equipment projects
- Manufacturing process optimization
- AutoCAD or 3D CAD software
- Root cause analysis and troubleshooting
- Machine or tooling design
