    Introduction

    In this position, you will apply engineering principles and analytical techniques to establish and continuously improve manufacturing processes and products. You will work with a cross-functional team from hourly production team members, supervisors, engineers, and the quality department.

    • Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry

    Day-to-Day Responsibilities

    • Enforce the Quality Operating System and Failure Mode Avoidance (FMA) process compliance
    • Update Dynamic Control Plan (DCP) and Process Failure Mode & Effects Analysis (PFMEA), including special/critical characteristics (SC/CC)
    • Maintain document retention within FEDE (Ford Engineering Design Environment)
    • Update department processes per corporate FAP/PTPs procedures
    • Support gage survey compliance, gage R&R compliance & other plant quality documentation
    • Conduct monthly DCP meetings to review key changes and observations, including SC/CC reviews
    • Responsible for providing departments with a summary of DCP actions needed to close top performance and cost initiatives
    • Support Manage The Change (MTC) process with any necessary DCP updates
    • Update monthly FMA Health Charts
    • Work with VRT and department Process Engineers to develop and implement action plans
    • Ability to coach as necessary both salary and hourly
    • Apply Quality Operating System within the plant guidelines interacting with various departments
