Manufacturing Process Improvement Engineer

Evaluate and improve manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and maximize output.

Lead investigations into production challenges and implement practical solutions that improve performance.

Work closely with production, quality, maintenance, and engineering teams to deliver operational improvements.

Support new product launches by ensuring manufacturing processes are capable, reliable, and scalable.

Develop manufacturing procedures, process controls, and technical documentation.

Analyse production and quality data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

Participate in root cause analysis activities and drive corrective and preventative actions.

Collaborate with equipment suppliers and external partners on process and technology improvements.

Deliver training and technical guidance to production personnel.

Promote safe manufacturing practices and support compliance with company and regulatory standards.

Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline, or equivalent industry experience.

Experience working in a manufacturing, industrial, or production environment.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Ability to lead projects and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Effective communication skills with the ability to work across different teams.

Hands-on approach with a passion for continuous improvement.

Experience within cable, wire, plastics, metals, or other high-volume manufacturing environments.

Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or similar methodologies.

Familiarity with quality tools such as SPC, PFMEA, and root cause analysis.

Experience working with CAD software or manufacturing equipment improvements.

Understanding of ISO-regulated manufacturing environments.
