Description
Our Client, a Business Maunufacturing and Supply company, is looking for a Process Engineer II for their Tolleson, AZ location.
Responsibilities:
Provide hands-on engineering support on the manufacturing floor to troubleshoot equipment, product, process, and operational issues.
Analyze data, observations, and process conditions to identify root causes and improvement opportunities.
Recommend, implement, and verify corrective actions to improve quality, uptime, throughput, and process stability.
Support equipment start-up, troubleshooting, commissioning, qualification, and process optimization.
Partner with operations, maintenance, quality, engineering, and vendors to resolve issues and sustain improvements.
Maintain procedures, standard work, technical documentation, and clear communication of findings and recommendations.
Requirements:
Manufacturing floor troubleshooting
Root cause analysis and corrective action
Equipment, process, and product issue resolution
Data analysis and process improvement
Cross-functional collaboration with operations, maintenance, quality, and engineering
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including clear technical documentation and communication of findings, risks, and recommendations
Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or another STEM field required.
Hands-on experience in a manufacturing, production, industrial, or plant environment.
Demonstrated ability to identify equipment, product, process, or operational issues and implement corrective actions.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional teamwork skills.
Commitment to safe work practices and compliance with plant procedures.
Preferred Skills and Experience
Experience with root cause analysis, Lean, Six Sigma, SPC, DOE, or other continuous improvement methods.
Familiarity with manufacturing systems, process controls, data analysis tools, and production performance metrics.
Mechanical aptitude and willingness to spend time on the manufacturing floor engaging with operators and observing processes.
