    • Administer the U. S. Steel Safety program to ensure a safe work environment within the assigned facility.
    • Perform a full range of process control duties in the concentrator/agglomerator.
    • Learn and understand the steelmaking process.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Mineral Processing, Metallurgical, or Chemical Engineering.
    • Preferred candidate will have mining or heavy industry experience.
    • Administration of the U. S. Steel safety program to ensure a safe work environment within the operating facility.
    • Coordination and direction of the safe, efficient, and economical operation of the facility.
    • Utilization of management skills to supervise, direct and coordinate the efforts of employees assigned to the operating facility to maximize operating efficiencies with minimum interruption.
    • Implementation of the production plan by coordinating material movement and equipment operation to meet customer''s specifications -- including quality, delivery requirements, etc.
    • Administration of operating facilities'' personnel, production reports, policies and procedures and other reporting as necessary.
    • Learn and understand the steelmaking process
