Description

  • Lead manufacturing process improvement initiatives focused on productivity, quality, efficiency, and cost reduction.
  • Develop, justify, and execute capital equipment projects from concept through implementation and commissioning.
  • Evaluate, select, and introduce new manufacturing technologies and production equipment.
  • Analyze manufacturing processes and identify opportunities to improve throughput, reduce downtime, and increase equipment utilization.
  • Conduct root cause investigations and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Establish process parameters, equipment capabilities, tooling requirements, and operating standards.
  • Drive scrap reduction and material utilization improvement initiatives.
  • Support workplace safety, ergonomic, and risk reduction programs.
  • Audit manufacturing and quality processes and recommend operational improvements.
  • Train supervisors, operators, and production personnel on new equipment and manufacturing procedures.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, work instructions, operator guides, and manufacturing standards.
  • Collaborate with equipment suppliers and external partners to evaluate emerging technologies and best practices.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to quality, productivity, efficiency, and operational excellence.
  • Provide technical expertise to resolve manufacturing equipment and process-related challenges.

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or a related technical discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of manufacturing, production, or process engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience leading capital equipment projects and manufacturing process improvements.
  • Demonstrated project management capabilities; formal project management training or certification is advantageous.
  • Experience selecting, validating, implementing, and commissioning manufacturing equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of process optimization, equipment performance analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Lean Manufacturing training or certification preferred.
  • Six Sigma training or certification preferred.
  • Experience supporting workplace safety and ergonomic improvement programs.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and root-cause problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple levels of an organization.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Ability to travel occasionally to support projects and training initiatives when required.
