Develop process parameters, trial plans, and production run documentation. Apply mixing and dispersion principles to improve batch consistency and performance. Standardize manufacturing processes to improve First Pass Yield (FPY). Develop and maintain work instructions, control plans, and process documentation. Perform process validation activities and maintain validation records. Utilize SPC and data analysis tools to monitor process capability and performance. Lead root cause investigations and corrective action activities. Resolve manufacturing and customer-related process issues. Create and maintain PFMEAs, process flow diagrams, and technical documentation. Support change management activities and manufacturing process improvements. Drive initiatives that improve throughput, reduce variation, and increase reliability.A successful Process Engineer should have: Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related discipline. 5+ years of chemical manufacturing or process engineering experience. Adhesives, coatings, specialty chemicals, or related industry experience preferred. Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies. Experience with process validation, PFMEA, and control plans. Proficiency with SPC and data analysis tools. Experience supporting new product introductions and manufacturing scale-up activities. Strong root cause analysis and problem-solving capabilities. Experience working in ISO-regulated manufacturing environments. Familiarity with ERP systems; JD Edwards experience is a plus.
