Description
- Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency, throughput, and equipment performance across manufacturing operations.
- Analyze manufacturing data, cycle times, changeovers, and operational bottlenecks to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Apply Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to reduce waste, minimize variability, and improve overall productivity.
- Support new product introductions by leading process scale-up activities and coordinating production trials.
- Develop process parameters, manufacturing instructions, and technical documentation to ensure consistent and repeatable production outcomes.
- Conduct process validation activities and analyze performance data to ensure compliance with quality standards and operating requirements.
- Implement Statistical Process Control (SPC) techniques to monitor process capability and improve first-pass yield.
- Investigate manufacturing and customer-related process issues using structured root cause analysis methodologies.
- Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions to resolve operational challenges and improve long-term process stability.
- Collaborate with production, quality, engineering, and supply chain teams to support operational objectives and continuous improvement projects.
- Create and maintain process documentation including flow charts, control plans, risk assessments, and validation records.
- Ensure all activities are performed in accordance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in process engineering, chemical manufacturing, or continuous improvement-focused manufacturing roles.
- Strong understanding of process optimization, process validation, statistical analysis, and manufacturing best practices.
- Experience utilizing Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to improve operational performance.
- Knowledge of SPC, PFMEA, control plans, root cause analysis, and technical documentation.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and manufacturing data analysis tools.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and project management capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
- Hands-on approach with the ability to spend significant time on the manufacturing floor supporting operations.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment.
