    Join us in Ogden, UT as the onsite authority who keeps chemical process control systems and heat-treatment furnaces accurate, reliable, and compliant. Reporting to the Senior Technical Services Manager, you’ll blend hands-on troubleshooting with meticulous calibration and documentation to ensure every measurement and control loop performs flawlessly.

    Your impact

    • Install, repair, and optimize instrumentation across pressure, flow, gas chromatograph, and pH systems to stabilize operations.
    • Calibrate temperature and pressure elements to National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) standards and maintain complete physical records.
    • Champion preventive maintenance discipline—up-to-date logs, test records, and a well-curated calibration manual library.
    • Restore and fit valves, valve positioners, and other flow devices to peak performance.
    • Partner closely with Engineering and Quality on material qualification/testing and represent the function during customer audits.
    • Apply electronic and pneumatic test equipment and small hand tools with expertise; work across devices including valves, pH/conductivity probes, flow analyzers, pressure devices, regulators, recorders, controllers, and thermal elements.
    • Coordinate your area’s maintenance efforts with the central maintenance shop to reduce downtime.
    • Operate confidently with wire, pneumatic tubing, fittings, valves, controllers, sensors, process systems involving acids and chemicals, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).

    What makes you successful here

    • High School Diploma or GED required.
    • At least 5 years in instrumentation and controls, with a minimum of 3 years in a comparable industrial environment.
    • Trade/technical education in industrial instrumentation maintenance may fulfill part of the experience requirement.
    • Proficiency in PLC wiring and strong maintenance/repair fundamentals.

    Work setting

    This role is 100% onsite in Ogden, UT and reports to the Senior Technical Services Manager.
