Job Title: Electrical Controls Engineer (12-Month Contract)
Location: AES - Chanhassen | Department: Project Engineering
Job Summary:
The Advanced Equipment Systems Division (AES) of The Company Electronics specializes in providing chemical and specialty gas management equipment solutions. The Electrical Controls Engineer will be integral to this mission, initially focusing on electrical design while actively training to implement software and controls systems for distribution, cleaning and blending equipment.
In this role, one will collaborate with multiple disciplinessuch as mechanical, electrical, software, controls and techniciansto improve manufacturing systems for electro-mechanical equipment used in the semiconductor and other industries. This opportunity also includes mentorship by senior controls experts for an electrically focused engineer looking to master backend controls and programming.

Job Responsibilities:
Design and create electrical schematics and engineering drawings using AutoCAD, including conducting peer reviews and feedback sessions.
Collaborate onand actively learn to design and customizesoftware for electro-mechanical control systems used in dispense, blending, and distribution systems.
Generate and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, which includes Functional Specifications, IO Matrices, operational procedures, and test procedures.
Support manufacturing and supply management teams to develop methods, requirements, and procedures consistent with project goals for manufacturing quality and project costs.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor\'s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Software, or Computer Science, or similar Associate\'s degree with 5%2B years of relevant experience.
Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD with a proven ability to originate, read, edit and redline electrical schematics
A strong interest and aptitude for learning backend PLC and HMI programming.
Foundational understanding of Ethernet networks, TCP/IP networking, and hardware troubleshooting
Willingness to travel up to 15% locally

Preferred Experience and Exposure (or a Willingness to Learn):
Drafting Software: AutoCAD Electrical experience is highly desired.
SCADA Software: GE Cimplicity, FactoryTalk View SE
PLC Software: Allen Bradley Studio 5000 / Logix 5000, Emerson (GE) Proficy Machine
