Procedure/Surgery Scheduler

Ensure patients understand required preparation steps to support a positive care experience. Provide clear, accurate, and compassionate guidance while addressing patient questions and concerns.

Our client, a Healthcare company, is looking for a Scheduler for their Corvallis, OR location.
 
Responsibilities:

• Schedule procedures/surgeries per physician orders.
• Answer incoming calls from patients regarding preparation instructions for upcoming procedures.
• Provide clear, accurate, and compassionate guidance while addressing patient questions and concerns.
• Ensure patients understand required preparation steps to support a positive care experience.

 
Requirements:

• Previous Surgery/Procedure Scheduling experience is required.
• Preference given to those that have EPIC experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience and/or training with computer applications required.
• Minimum of one (1) year experience and/or training in a position of similar responsibility and complexity required.
• Experience and/or training with medical/insurance terminology preferred.
