Additional Information About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Procedure Specialist to join our team supporting BJC - Midwest Stone Therapy. In this role, you will be responsible for the delivery, setup, and support of specialized medical equipment used during patient procedures. You will work closely with physicians, nurses, and surgical staff to ensure seamless procedural support and outstanding patient care.
This position is ideal for individuals with prior operating room, surgical technology, or radiology experience who enjoy working in a fast-paced healthcare environment and building strong professional relationships with clinical teams.
Schedule: Typically starts at 6:00 AM, with flexibility in scheduling. Average of 30-35 hours per week, Monday through Friday. No weekends or holidays.

Overview

MSI is a mobile service provider of extracorporeal shockwave lithotripsy/treatments, laser, cryo ablation, and brachy therapy equipment and personnel. MSI services physicians and patients at hospitals and surgery centers in the St. Louis MSA for the treatment of stone disease, kidney/prostate cancer, and orthopaedic/podiatric tendon inflammation.

Role Purpose
Mobilizes and operates extracorporeal shockwave lithotripsy, extracorporeal shockwave therapy, holmium laser, greenlight lasers, CO2 laser, cryosurgical, ultrasound, brachytherapy and other equipment, at hospitals and surgical centers under the general supervision of the attending physician.
Responsibilities
Provides physician support while providing services.Ensures equipment is maintained and functioning properly.Provides expert operation of the equipment at assigned locations. Ensures necessary supplies and equipment are timely transported for procedure, maintains facility policies and serves as a resource to hospital staff.Provides excellence in patient care by communicating with shockwave patients, providing procedure specific education, both pre-procedure and post-procedure.Acts as a resource for assigned equipment/procedure. Works with MSI Director to increase utilization and promote service to existing and potential customers. Mentors peers on the use of equipment.
