JOB DESCRIPTION:    Theoris is looking for a Probation System SME who is already located in the  Indianapolis area.  This role supports a case management application used by probation, parole, pretrial services, community corrections, and other criminal justice agencies. This role will provide application support, assist users with questions and issues, conduct follow-up training, test application enhancements, and help support ongoing development of the application.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience within the criminal justice system—particularly probation, parole, community supervision, pretrial services, or problem-solving courts—and understands how individuals are managed while under court supervision.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide application support to criminal justice agencies using the system.
• Troubleshoot user questions and issues and follow up to ensure resolution.
• Provide training and follow-up support to application users.
• Assist with testing and validating application enhancements and new functionality.
• Work with internal teams to identify application improvements and user needs.
• Support the application as it evolves and as new programs or agencies are added.
• Understand and support workflows related to community supervision, including appointments, compliance monitoring, case tracking, and court requirements.
• Support application functionality related to agency financial processes, including fees, receipts, banking, and daily/monthly accounting activities.
• Travel occasionally when needed to support programs or agencies.

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree
• Probation or Parole Officer experience or Community Corrections Officer
• Strong Communication and writing skills
• Ability to travel if needed
