Pro Shop Counter Sales Rep – Orlando, FL
Join the Trinity Surfaces Team Trinity Surfaces is seeking a motivated and customer-focused professional to join our team as a Pro Shop Counter Sales Rep. This role serves as the primary point of contact for walk-in contractors and customers, providing fast, accurate, and professional service in the Pro Shop and warehouse while supporting sales growth, order accuracy, and an outstanding customer experience. Key Responsibilities - Provide exceptional service to contractors and walk-in customers at the Pro Shop counter.
- Process sales orders through the full P21 lifecycle with accurate and timely follow-through.
- Review open orders daily, resolve discrepancies, and maintain accurate order data.
- Assist with pulling, verifying, loading, and staging customer orders as needed.
- Promote add-on sales and recommend products that support customer project needs.
- Develop knowledge of tile, flooring, setting materials, contractor tools, and related accessories.
- Monitor inventory levels, replenish stock, and communicate product needs to management.
- Process customer and supplier returns accurately and in accordance with company procedures.
- Balance daily cash, check, and credit card transactions and prepare deposits.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized Pro Shop and warehouse environment.
- Support warehouse operations and Trinity Fleet activities as needed.
- Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and equipment operating guidelines.
What We’re Looking For - 2+ years experience in flooring or building materials (worked with flooring contractors, installers or builders)
- Experience in counter sales with working knowledge in installation methods
- Experience in retail, warehouse, or pro-shop environments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Intermediate proficiency in MS Office
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling transactions
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights.
- Ability to handle customer inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure customer satisfaction
- Bilingual - Spanish and English language skills preferred
- Forklift experience is a plus
