Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dependable PRN Scrub Tech to join our surgical team in Naples, FL. The ideal candidate will have experience as a scrub technician and be able to assist surgeons during operative procedures by maintaining a sterile environment and ensuring all necessary instruments and supplies are available.
Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms by setting up surgical instruments and equipment.
- Assist surgeons and surgical staff during procedures by passing instruments and supplies.
- Maintain sterile field and adhere to infection control protocols.
- Ensure all surgical instruments are properly sterilized and accounted for before and after procedures.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to provide efficient and safe patient care.
- Perform inventory checks and restock supplies as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a scrub technician or surgical technologist.
- Knowledge of surgical instruments, procedures, and sterile techniques.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred.
- Flexibility to work PRN (as needed) shifts.
