    Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - PRN

    WEEKEND COVERAGE NEEDED

    Parkwood Village is seeking a compassionate PRN Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our in-house rehabilitation team in Bedford, TX!

    This is an excellent opportunity for a Physical Therapy Assistant who is passionate about helping residents improve mobility, strength, function, and independence. Working under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, you will provide personalized, resident-centered care that supports meaningful progress and a higher quality of life.     Key Responsibilities

    • Provide skilled physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a Physical Therapist
    • Implement individualized plans of care to reduce pain and improve function
    • Monitor and document resident progress, including strength, mobility, and motor performance
    • Communicate changes in resident condition to the Physical Therapist and care team
    • Educate residents, families, and caregivers
    • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team
    • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation
    • Follow all professional, legal, and regulatory standards

    Qualifications

    • Active Physical Therapist Assistant state license in good standing
    • Skilled nursing or long-term care experience preferred
    • Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills
    • Knowledge of the Net Health Electronic Documentation System preferred
