Job Description
We are currently seeking a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support our Physical Therapists with patient care. Specific job responsibilities will include the following under the supervision of the Physical Therapist:
- Patient observation before, during and after therapy, noting the status and reporting it to the Physical Therapist.
- Assisting the patient with specific exercises as per the plan of care.
Qualifications
- Graduate from a CAPTE accredited Physical Therapist Assistant Program.
- One or more years of outpatient orthopedic experience within a private clinic or hospital preferred but new grads are welcome to apply
- Current state of Iowa Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license, CPR certification.
