Job Summary:

HCA Healthcare Pathology Services and their North Florida Division are seeking a PRN pathologist to provide floating coverage at our hospitals in the North Central Florida market (Gainesville).

 

Qualified Candidates:

  • AP/CP certification or board eligibility
  • Active Florida medical license or ability to obtain
  • Comfortable with the full scope of AP and CP for community hospital practice
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Pathology Work Description:

  • Wide range of surgical pathology specimens
  • Cytology cases primarily consist of a variety of non-GYN specimens, thyroid FNA’s, and lung FNA’s
  • Clinical pathology may include peripheral smears and blood bank reviews.
