Position Summary
The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant provides direct patient care services under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist and understands treatment plan and procedure modifications. The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant is responsible for documentation of patient treatments, patient charges, and other information as needed. The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant is also responsible for the supervision of ancillary staff. He/she participates in community presentations, staff education, and other departmental activities as requested by the supervisor, manager, or director.
