Job Requirements

Education Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program recognized by the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA).

Certifications Requirements:

• Valid Texas COTA License.
• BLS certification.
• License renewal as required by state regulations.

Experience Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of LTC (Long-Term Care) experience.
• Prior experience working in rehabilitation settings preferred.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.

Other Requirements:

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility to work 1-3 days per week, days flexible, with no guaranteed hours.
• Must be comfortable with commuting 45 minutes to 1 hour, as housing is not provided.
